How do I import a digital planner into GoodNotes?

I have created this 3-video series to help you with it. If you prefer step by step technical info, check below.

On your PC (recommended) – Import from Dropbox to Goodnotes

Step 1: Make sure you have the GoodNotes premium app installed and updates

Step 2: Open your Etsy account on your PC and follow this flow:
a) Tap on “You” on the top right, then “Purchases and reviews”
b) Tap “Download Files” > “Download” button
c) Open the file and tap the “Share” button (the icon of a square with vertical arrow)
d) Tap “Save to Dropbox”

NOTE: GUEST CHECKOUTS WILL RECEIVE THEIR FILES DIRECTLY IN THEIR EMAIL. If that’s your case, open the email on your PC, click on the file name to download, then save it to Dropbox.

Step 3: In Goodnotes 4 app:
a) Choose a category
b) Tap “+” icon (in top toolbar, left side)
c) Tap “Import”
d) Tap “Dropbox”
e) Find and tap your file saved in Dropbox
f) Open the Planner (just tap on the name)
g) Start using your planner ๐Ÿ™‚

Step 3: In Goodnotes 5 app:
a) Choose a folder location
a) Tap “New’
c) Tap “Import”
d) Tap “Dropbox”
e) Find and tap your file saved in Dropbox
f) Open the Planner (just tap on the name)
g) Start using your planner ๐Ÿ™‚

On your iPad – Download from Etsy directly to Goodnotes

Step 1: Make sure you have the GoodNotes premium app installed and updates

Step 2: Open your Etsy account on the Safari Browser on your iPad and follow this flow:
a) Tap on “You” on the top right, then “Purchases and reviews”
b) Tap “Download Files” > “Download” button
c) Open the file and tap the “Share” button (the icon of a square with vertical arrow)
d) Tap “Copy to Goodnotes” icon

NOTE: GUEST CHECKOUTS WILL RECEIVE THEIR FILES DIRECTLY IN THEIR EMAIL. If that’s your case, open the email, tap on the file name to open and hit “Copy to Goodnotes”.

Step 3: In Goodnotes 4 app:
a) Choose a category (you can also create a new one)
a) Tap “Import into [Category name]”
b) Open the Planner (just tap on the name)
c) Start using your planner ๐Ÿ™‚

Step 3: In Goodnotes 5 app:
a) if you already have a document opened in Goodnotes, you may be asked to import before or after the current page. Choose “Change Location”
b) Choose a folder location
a) Tap “Import as a new document’
c) Open the Planner (just tap on the name)
d) Start using your planner ๐Ÿ™‚
